    Ah yes... unsubstantiated rumors.

As if there weren't enough useless noise and problems to solve already, let's add "rumors".

    Good job Tucker.

    Good job Tucker.
Tucker Carlson, to anyone who had listened to the tape, knows that Tucker said no such thing. Didn't even come CLOSE to saying, "There's a rumor that Trump may resign/quit/or whatever word one wants to put to it."

All he said is that President Trump MAY not win. That's a real possibility that we all should consider. (So as to make sure we don't forget to vote? ahem?) Then Tucker went on to suggest what Trump might or should do to secure a win. Which would be to address all the violence going on across this nation.

However, the President, no matter who he is, is restricted in many ways from using military force on U.S. soil; especially so, without the consent of the Congress.

    #1. U.S. Constitution: Article IV; Section 4:
The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and the Application of the Legislature, or the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence.
No doubt y'all caught the fact that the Legislature is definitely convened. So, that's out. (We can assume, I mean.)

BUT! Here's an interesting article from LAWFARE, which sites exceptions to when the president may, and can, get around those restrictions.

    First, though,
    Posse Comitatus Restrictions
For more than a century, federal law has limited when and how the military may be used for law enforcement purposes. Originally enacted as part of the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878, these provisions are now codified as amended at 18 U.S.C. § 1385, which reads:
Whoever, except in cases and under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress, willfully uses any part of the Army or the Air Force as a posse comitatus or otherwise to execute the laws shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.

However, no one's ever been prosecuted under that provision.

Still, what President Trump is (they think) reaching for, is Article II: Section 3:
...he shall take care that he Law be faithfully executed.
Yes, as most of us know, that is his job.

However, as we see above, he's limited in his authority to do so.

BUT! Here are the exceptions that LawFare points out:

Substantively, the Insurrection Act authorizes the president to deploy the military domestically in four sets of circumstances:

    • Where the president receives a request for assistance from the legislature of a state that is experiencing “an insurrection ... against its government[,]” or that state’s governor if its legislature cannot be convened, under 10 U.S.C. § 251.
    • Where the president “considers that unlawful obstructions, combinations, or assemblages, or rebellion against the authority of the United States, make it impracticable to enforce the laws of the United States in any State by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings,” under 10 U.S.C. § 252.
    • Where “any insurrection, domestic violence, unlawful combination, or conspiracy” either “so hinders the execution of the laws of [a] State, and of the United States within th[at] State, that any part or class of its people is deprived of a right, privilege, immunity, or protection named in the Constitution and secured by Law, and the constituted authorities of that State are unable, fail, or refuse to protect that right, privilege, or immunity, or to give that protection,” under 10 U.S.C. § 253(1)—in which cases, the statute notes, that state “shall be considered to have denied the equal protection of the laws secured by the Constitution.”
    • Where “any insurrection, domestic violence, unlawful combination, or conspiracy ... opposes or obstructs the execution of the laws of the United States or impedes the course of justice under those laws,” under 10 U.S.C. § 253(2).
I would say that #3 & #4 definitely apply, in this case. However, Lawfare goes on to say why they might not.

If you'd like to read the whole background, and those reasons, here ya go:

Yikies, but, if you guys think the Left hates Trump, you will have a whole new scene coming if Mike Pence were to run or be elected as President.

Yes he is.... and yes they loathe Christians. I tuned into 1st Baptist Dallas "Freedom Sunday" stream and it was great. Ben Carson spoke and then Pence spoke. Abbott and Cornyn were there too but didn't speak. The idiot left is really gonna hate it when Pence runs in 2024 (which Jeffress mentioned and everyone stood up and applauded).

Oh, they have "gods." Both hidden and open. Some they follow willingly and openly, while others, one in particular, manipulates them like the pawns they are......

A few of the "gods" of the left:

--Government (Most Democrats, and almost all leftists, have de-evolved into willing serf's, placing all their faith, hope, and love in GOVERNMENT. (And, Government...is a VERY jealous god. Thus ONE of the reasons the left wants to rewrite the FIRST Amendment.....)

--Barack Hussein Obama (The 'son of gov.') I have to give the 'Dali Bama' some credit here for his humility, as I honestly believe, that if he came out and announced himself as "divine," up to 30% (at least) of the population would immediately fall down to their knees (leftists are at their best, when on their knees....) in worship of him.

--Other People's Property: Perhaps not a 'god' in their opinion, but, certainly a 'holy vessel' that is deserved by their faithful. Whatever the case, it seems that Leftists and Democrats have a deep fascination with Other People's Property...

--Lucifer: The MASTER who rules them from the shadows, and moves them around like the pawns they have made themselves.........

I don't believe it --- he isn't the quitter type
James 1:19 says, "Let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath." Being “slow to speak” is the exact opposite to speaking pressingly or with urgency. Practically speaking I believe its all about getting into the habit. Wait before you speak and consider the effects of what you are going to say. Then, if you don’t have anything to say that is constructive or edifying, don’t say anything at all!
