I love chicken pot pie and often bought prepared ones - but my husband does the shopping now and 'forgets' the easy stuff....Do you make your own pastry for that Hawk?
To be honest I buy Maria Callenders Pot Pies, I like the Parmesan chicken or the chili ones. Baking is a science while cooking is an art. I am not claiming to be an artist, but I do not like the exactness of baking. When I cook to taste, not to measurements.

I bought Maria Callenders Pot Pies too, but my husband prefers home cooking. His mother loved to cook.
I don't 'love' to cook but always had home cooked meals sitting at the table for my husband and 4 kids.
If you didn't see my thread about Beer Bread you might look it up on google. It's simple, easy and people like it.
To be honest I do not eat enough bread to bother with trying to make it. As for beer, there is plenty at the local stores so no reason to make that either
