I do mostly one pot meals........soup, rice with seasoning and chicken, spaghetti. Lots of veggies and just a little meat. It takes 5 minutes to put on the stove and it can simmer until we are ready to eat. We don't do tv dinners and I try not to use the oven in the summer. I get most of my meat from Schwans......they deliver it to the door and it's excellent quality. Schwans also has a merlot beef dish....... beef, potatoes, carrots in a brown gravy that is delicious. A bag of goodness that cooks on the stove top.

I baked some chicken leg quarters and, baked potatoes.

No potato for me, just chicken.....and, a half cup of mint chocolate chip ice cream.

I used to order stuff from Schwan's, I should look them up, see if they operate in my area.

    Calabrese tonight:

Get HOT Italian pork sausage and cut them into 1.5 inch chunks. Sear the cut ends completely on a hot frying pan...roll them around a bit to cook them 50% through.

Drop them into your red sauce and let that cook for 1/2 hour...boiling off the water. Shut it down...let it get cooled off so you can see the fat floating in it...skim that, off.

I like it on what ever pasta is handy.
Eh! What else can I say???
