    Yesterday the wife badgered me to go out to the supermarket for a piece of beef for over the festivities.

    My orders were simple “buy a piece of beef”
    Not too big, not too small….evil grin.

    In the end I took pictures and sent them to her. Still she couldn’t make her mind up…..that’s when i turned the phone off and put the biggest one in the trolley.

    Prepped the vegetables early this morning, the wife cooked it all whilst drinking advocat Xmas drink.

    An Aussie mainstay...but, it's lost on the rest of our crowd.

    I'm actually becoming quite a judge of TV dinners. Most are sub-standard but the best...is Lean Cuisine. They are "lean" so they aren't big portions, but...they don't cut any quality corners. Well...not too much, anyway!
    Eh! What else can I say???
