It’s supposed to be a barbecue tonight but as it stands at 10:15am in the morning it’s chucking it down outside.

Tonight I’ve been informed we are having Lamb chops, roasted potatoes, with broccoli, carrots and peas.

I have lost the will to cook, I rarely cook a full meal anymore.

Tonight, though, I'm making barbecue chicken thighs with rice.

Made a delicious NY Strip steaks with Asparagus. Also made a great Mushroom, wine, cream, garlic, onion, tyme sauce. Steaks were cooked alone in pan on stove, then reheated in the sauce to acquire the taste.

    Better late than never.

Forgot to post this on July 4th... Grilled home made burgers & corn, also a salad. Unfortunately, I began eating before I took a pic. So I won't be posting the pic of an already started meal....lol

Cooking has never been my favorite 'thing' to do but I do cook everyday or my husband would be unhappy. But - I cook some things like Spaghetti, Meatloaf, Chili, etc, that we do eat for two days. That second day is pure pleasure.

I used to make full dinners every night, when the kids were still at home, my husband tells me, don't bother cooking, I'll just throw something together. Ok by me.

The last time my son and his family were at the house, I let my daughter-in-law cook whatever the kids wanted, she baked a cake, and everything!
