What's For Dinner Tonight?

I'm thinking about Filet Mignon for dinner.

Haven't had it in awhile.

Now I just have to decide what to serve it with!

Ok……it is 10am I’m already thinking what I can have for dinner tonight…. I’m thinking of ordering a delivery Chicken madras.

I'm dying for Indian food.

Can't remember the last time i had some ... probably pre-Covid.

Gotta keep that in mind for the coming weeks.

The lady of the house is feeling a bit bad today, she has a girlie cold. I’ve been left to my own devices to get my own food on the table.
For tonight I had a tin of mackerels on white toast. Later on (8ish) I’ll throw a thin pizza in the oven.

Simple tonight, we're having Spaghetti and a mixed salad. I don't make meat balls, just throw ground beef and onions in a pan and cook it with some mushrooms chopped garlic and seasonings, and then add a spaghetti sauce - simmer it a bit and then mix in the noodles.

Success! I have access to the leisure centre staff canteen. I can cook myself anything I want with the microwave

Oooh.....I took out New York strip steaks from the freezer this morning.

Definitely salad to go with, possibly a baked potato.

Disaster tonight! I drove around after work aimlessly not deciding where to spend my hard earned pounds, Mansfield instead of being a forgotten Victorian workers paradise ii actually has some very bright neon signs of every colour flashing, trying to entice the hungry patron inside. Applying the brakes of my trusty steed I pulled into a parking slot just outside a very nice chippy, two smiling serving wenches looked up at me expectantly “what will it be mister?” “Ooh i said, you’ve got a great choice, I think I’ll have a pukka steak and kidney pie and small chips” they look at me disheartened and one of them shovels the chips into a styrofoam tray, the other whisks the pie out of the glass warming oven. Feeling so hungry i ate them in my van, licking my fingers when I had finished…. Ye gods it’s great to be alive and oop north.
