@Trinnity a sticky in the food section would be nice.

To be honest I buy Maria Callenders Pot Pies, I like the Parmesan chicken or the chili ones. I have no desire to bake or do anything baking-like, so I don't make my own pot pies.

Baking is a science while cooking is an art. I am not claiming to be an artist, but I do not like the exactness of baking. When I cook to taste, not to measurements.

Today we'll have Atlantic Salmon with garlic pesto, asparagus and a mixed greens and tomato salad.

We've found these meals to be very good and more filling than the picture reveals. I read that they aren't meant to be frozen so I'm trying to use up the ones we bought and froze.

Too expensive. I can make all those meals for less than half the price they are charging, well more than half. If it works for you, awesome, but I have lived my life saving money and being a cheap ass bastard I am not knocking you for using that service, but damn is it expensive!

I bought Maria Callenders Pot Pies too, but my husband prefers home cooking. His mother loved to cook.

I don't 'love' to cook but always had home cooked meals sitting at the table for my husband and 4 kids.

If you didn't see my thread about Beer Bread you might look it up on google. It's simple, easy and people like it.

To be honest I do not eat enough bread to bother with trying to make it. As for beer, there is plenty at the local stores so no reason to make that either

It is, but just about the same as for any 'pickup' food. And it's not something we do all the time.
