Hey, it's friday. Gotta have a little fun, bench racing, and talk about better times.

We had a couple spring-like days here, so I had to get back on two wheels. I knew it would bring me a 2 day smile and let me feel free of earthly problems.

When we finally got that cold hearted beast to pop, and I was riding the fields and trails with the kid, all was right with the world for an hour.
The kid actually helped me kick the thing to life. I figured if he could kick it, he could ride it.

But...and I haven't been at state lines, lately...I'm told, our (dumbocrat) governor has put barricades up, to prevent Washinton refugees, and others, from entering.

Good, on the surface. Not so good, when you consider that the dumbos are setting precedent.

Other states will do the same. Open borders to Mexico, but not to Montana or Nebraska or Alabama. FedGov exerting their capricious discretion.
Bastards, can't build a wall, but can close the states.

Let go of that and find a way to go out and take a ride, good for the soul.

    Not "let's go", let go...

I am several days away and not physically ready for any long riding.

    Neither the weather.

    Hold that thought. Open question.

Where...what...I'm not an "Adventure" rider, so much as a tourer. But in this madness, not a motel-dweller, either.

I have a basement and two garages full of old bikes. The eldest kid got a gleam in his eye when I told him that during this lockdown, we might want to bring one to life.

Unfortunately my two best road bikes are 2 hours away. I'm thinking of pulling a 90's vintage 600 Honda out of mothballs for myself.
