I wish that it was that easy, just spraying your nose. Winter (from Thanksgiving to the end of Feb) is when the stuff that I'm allergic to blows. We had a warmish winter so far & I was doing great. Then a couple of days ago I felt like warm dog shit, the next day a little better & today I'm WDS again. My wife happened to check the news (she's allergic to the same thing) & the day that I started feeling bad the allergens jump from 500 to 3500. So fun times ahead & they will probably last a good (cause bad sound odd) 2 months.

I've always found that not enjoying being sick worked for me. I had to deal with people who loved being sick when I was working. One guy took a week off for a vasectomy and another took two weeks off when he had two toenails removed. My father was a horrible hypochondriac so I have a rather harsh attitude. My father would say things like, "The doctor told me he'd never seen a hangnail this bad. He said it could be fatal." Mom insisted I shouldn't laugh.

Now, I live where I need neither heating nor air conditioning. My sinuses are dandy.

If you live in a more northerly climate, and aren't getting a lot of sunlight exposure outside, take Vitamin D. Can help fight the winter blues, increase mental clarity if you have a deficiency, reduce cancer risk, and help your bones retain calcium if you're older. Make sure it's at least 2500 or 5000 IU.

Typically Vitamin D levels dip in Winter because the body produces most of its Vitamin D from exposure to sunlight.
