Things Don't Change All That Much

In October 1982, EPOT opened at Disney World, in Orlando, Florida to great fanfare and huge crowds.

One reporter covering the event walked up to the Disney Manager of the park, and said the day must be "bittersweet" to them, because Walt Disney himself wasn't there to observe it, he had passed away five years earlier.

The Disney Management team Director looked at the reporter then responded to his question with:

"You are just a minor reporter, not a visionary, reporting on the success of people, creators of magic, you don't know anything and you take no part in creating.

"Walt Disney saw everything here today, and everything at Disney World decades before when it was nothing but Florida swamp land. He created it in his mind, he is responsible for everything magic you see here today, and envisioned it all as a true visionary. There is nothing here that he didn't create, and he saw it all, before you ever knew what was coming. Now get the F.......away from me you fool."

Just something that I saw that somehow touched me:

The other day I was looking through an auction site & as usual I checked out Disney items. There was a figure (I don't know what you call them) of a Mickey artist. He was sitting looking into a mirror with a paint brush & on a canvas next to him he was painting a picture of himself. Only the picture he was painting was of Walt Disney. Like I said that somehow hit home to me. I honestly thought about buying it but really don't want to start collecting something other than what we collect.

I've often heard it rumored that Walt Disney was known to take trips and never leave the farm.If you get my drift. After watching Fantasia the first couple of times,I often wondered if it was more than just rumor. At the time of it's production in the 60's it was consistent with the drug culture of the time.

Not trying to diminish the genius of the man at all......just sayin'.

disney was fine until: two retards whos collective IQ equates to that of a gnat, get married and their dogs get married too. they revived their films with the Rescuers Series, but after that, when the Bill Peet marriage turned into a fagfest where they demanded their " lifepartner " receive health and life ins benifits like it was normal for to faggots to engage in cornholing eachother, they continued to outclass eachother with more debauchery.

It came out in 1940, before LSD was invented. It was re-released in the 1960's, I believe, wherein it became popular with the hippies as well as kids again as well.

I have no respect for Mr Disney, who found a way to deceive and fleece the masses.
