    Best office party recipes

    Put 'em here.

    I'm gonna post the 2 recipes I just sent to a beloved member of the forum:

    Veggie pizza

    Use a large baking sheet (aluminum, not "non-stick" throw those away and buy aluminum)
    Use 2 cans of crescent rolls and make the crust and bake as on the package. Let cool.

    Here comes the fun part...Make a "sauce" of cream cheese and ranch dressing. Spread it on the crust.Top with fine shredded fiesta cheese (yellow and white) and small chopped purple onion, tomatoes (go with roma, less water, more meat) green pepper (whatever colors you like) and shredded carrot. Keep in mind COLOR. Refrigerate and then cut in bite sized pieces put on tray. They'll go wild for this.

    ~~~
    "Better than sex cake"
    Bake a chocolate cake (2 boxes) in a large sheet pan or casserole dish. Let cool. Take a chop stick of similar and poke holes all over the cake. Then pour a whole can of sweetened condensed milk all over. Top with crushed Skor bars (better than Heath because Heaths are thicker).
    Put in fridge to chill
    These 2 recipes....they will beg you to bring them over and over.
    Take a roll of bologna, a couple heads of lettuce, some nice tomatoes, cheese, some bread and onions and tell them to make their own. Furnish a knife.
    We used to have backyard BBQs for friends twice a year, plus football parties and Christmas parties. One of the all-time favorites was the Mexican Layered Dip. Use a clear bowl so the layers show up. I used an oblong pyrex baking dish rather than a deep bowl.
    Spread in layers:
    Refried beans
    Sour Cream mixed with a package of Taco Seasoning
    Guacamole
    Shredded Cheddar Cheese
    Topped with cut up Tomato, green Onions, and sliced Black Olives
    Serve with Tortilla Chips
    You can take some very thinly sliced ham or prosciutto and stuff it with a tsp. /tbsp of different items like cream cheese, crushed pineapple, sliced/diced onion, dip, seafood bisque, etc.
    Simply roll the slices tight while tucking or folding the ends under and secure with a toothpick or two. Add as much or as little filling as you like.
    Yes, they are always a hit. Especially when you add crispy bacon.
    Edit: or rather Kris P Bacon.
