In the Winter was the Old Black n White Set in the Garage and Uncle Marty and Aunt Carol came over and Heidi our Sheppard bit their kid in the gut..

Michael was "okay" and later he made friends with "Hedi"
Today "people" aint real people My Folks wouldve been on Judge Judy over "Heidi" who was Doing HER JOB..

My DAD said NEXT TIME ya get DRUNK and Carol kicks ya out dont CALL ME

When I used to watch ballgames, I had Vin Scully and John Madden and Chick Hearn calling the game. So no need to listen to radio.

About half the people that showed up were just there to grill, drink and eat.
Yes golf is boring (if you don't play). Here's something that I learned. I have sleep problems & during the day it is very hard for me to take a nap no matter how tired I am. But laying on the couch with a golf game on is better than anything else I've found to put me to sleep. One of these days I'm going to tape a golf game just to have it for naps.

Back in the day, I used to watch the Buccaneers on the TV but had the radio on listening to the greatest voice in football, Gene Deckerhoff.

He was an awesome announcer and still calls the play by play with them. Deckerhoff's voice was used as the announcer of Madden's NFL video games, NCAA football and arena football video games. You know you must be good if you are forever remembered on video games like that!

Anyway, watch the game on TV (on mute of course) while listening to Deckerhoff was truly how the Bucs fans did it back in the day.

I used to listen to the Seattle Supersonics on the radio.

Basketball is predictable. Get a good broadcaster, and you can "see" the action in your mind.

I've recently been listening to the Las Vegas Aviators (minor league) on radio.

Not at all, a good announcer can bring the game to life... and with baseball nowadays "listening" beats watching paint dry.
