I prefer to listen to the Saints and LSU football and baseball on the radio.

My step father is living with us now. He loves to watch football, baseball & basketball. I like football but the other two I hate to watch. So.....I spent this afternoon trying to stay away while one of his baseball teams got the hell beat out of them. Boring doesn't discribe it. I quickly drifted off in slumber land & woke myself up every now & then snoring. Thank God it ended before I ended up in a coma.

The one thing that I love to listen to on radio is old time radio shows. A lot of times when I'm busy doing something on the computer I have a second window open with one of them playing. Compare something like Gunsmoke the radio show to Gunsmoke the TV show & I'll take the radio show every time.

I can't watch baseball. It is almost as boring as golf. I used to go to "watch" a Tripple A team(I think that was what they were) that was local and loved it, but I spent the whole time in the parking lot eating and drinking. About half the people that showed up were just there to grill, drink and eat.

Nice thingy though is got me a "JOB" and worked through it ..

Even got a CDL through the Workforce Development and built me a "foundation" from there

Is rather go to the stadium . The last time I listened to the game on a radio by the 7th inning I had to go to the hospital to have the antennae pulled out of my butt.

Nah I think in "Real-Life" why we got so "spoiled" with cheap Chinesse Big Screen Tvs..

Not only that @NuYawka n @Dan40 I think we actually "forgot" simpler times like sitting on your backporch with a clock radio and a beer..

The way WE "grew-up"..

In the Winter was the Old Black n White Set in the Garage and Uncle Marty and Aunt Carol came over and Heidi our Sheppard bit their kid in the gut..

Michael was "okay" and later he made friends with "Hedi"

there's something about the red clay and new mowed grass that makes baseball look so good on the big screen TV. especially if it is Fenway Park or Wrigley Field or Yankee Stadium. the radio just doesn't do it for me.
