Trying to halt the audit.

For months now we've been hearing that each state can pretty much do whatever they want as long as they stay within the federal guidelines of chain of custody, etc. If the Georgia state legislature screwed the pooch then that is a Georgia problem, they have to deal with it on their own. The Feds can't get involved.

If the DOJ does an about face and suddenly gets involved where they don't belong you can expect big time fireworks.

The DOJ will justify their involvement because an audit that actually looks at the votes is a civil rights issue. Or so they will say. Republicans can fire all the fireworks they want, the democrats could care less.
