Another Russian Weapons System Failure
Apparently even the Russians do not consider the Su-75 Checkmate the alleged replacement for the failed Su-57 to even be a stealth fighter. Its survival strategy is to stay out of enemy defended airspace. What earthly good is the thing?
Russiadoesn't seem sure the Su-75 Checkmate will be stealth - Sandboxx
You can say the same about a Cessna172. Not much of an offensive threat, is it?
Quoth the link:
“...a Rostec spokesperson told the outlet in no uncertain terms that the Checkmate will need to operate outside enemyair defenses, rather than within them.”
“...they recently announced that they expect to receive four new Su-57s this Decemeber, bringing the total tally of these fighters to 17.”
Taxcuttersays:
SEVENTEEN of their wonder SU-57s? Is that enough to outfit a single squadron? The USAF cries to blues about only having 125 F-22s, but that number has been on USAF flight lines for thirty years.
I would think that since Vlad is holding the EU and China up for natural gas, they could afford a few planes. Wouldn't you.
It looks to me like a lot of the threat from Russian and Chinese weapons systems is mostly in the minds of the US media.
