Since you all, the members, often scoop Drudge and are a source of comprehensive news coverage; bringing in fine details and overlooked stories, I've added "News & Politics" to the header. Thank you to ADMIN (owner) for fixing it up.

Thank you all so much for what you do to make this forum great.

Btw, our 5 year anniversary is on November 10.

yes, I did notice this yesterday and thought that we have improved immensely with the addition of "News".

The Thanks belong to you and the other fine forum mods for running such a tight ship around here.

tight ship in America

Informal an institution (https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/institution), business, etc. that is highly (https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/highly) organized (https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/organize) and efficiently run (https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/run), like a naval (https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/naval) vessel on which discipline (https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/discipline) is strictly enforced (https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/enforce)

"tight ship" meaning well run and finely organized.

Not that it means "tight" as in with a heavy handed approach.

Just thought I would define that.

But at midnite 4 times a year ol DB can be heard digging holes and emptying 5qts of Pennsylvania's finast into the ground under the light of a silvery moon . My post dont rot .

Doesn't your area have a refuse center? We just drop all our trash and recyclables off each week. There's also areas for getting rid of oil, paint, antifreeze, fire extinguishers, propane bottles, construction materials, electronics, etc. I just bottle the stuff up in a used milk jug and poor it out at the center. It's all free.

Yes we do . During the week they charge to dump and on sat from 8-12 its free ... You get to wait on line than pull into the establishment and dump . Theres a tire repair place right outside the g ates that only charge $29.95 to plug each tire you get the nails in .
If you bring paint it must be in a dried out state which means you need to leave the lid off 2 years prior to get it to evaporate . Paint is another thing I pour along the fenceline .

Maybe its just me - they tell me I'm cynical .:dontknow:

Finally. My PC crashed and there it is, news and politics added to the header banner when I get it back up. Now we need some journalists and reporters to start writing original OP's. Thinking about all the conspiracy junk I've read here the last few days, we have fiction covered already.

Used to be, we'd all post tight...in other ways.

Alas, times change. We all have our stories why that stopped. Me, it's money and health. And our active membership is changing...all but me; I'm kind of in a personal no-man's land...

However, the last time I tried to mult-quote, I messed it up somehow and 17 people got into a huge fight, 2 admins had to settle it down, I got a week ban and four members were tossed out.

Just kidding! But I did mess up the multi-quote and it was a mess. Luckily I was forgiven for my incompetence.

Hahahahahahaha!
