yea,,,its no longer supported by windows,,nor microsoft, toshiba, intel, bill gates, or electricity...

but the "W" button still works pretty good...i glued the
"pause" button on,,it doesnt pause but it stays on the keyboard,,,and the sticking "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" button took a little practice [you gotta, kinda "sneak up on it"] the camera hangs out like some ghastly blinded cyclops, but a piece of popsicle stick and a spring clamp holds it in place...it still sounds like a semi when it starts up and takes 5-10 min. to complete its start cycle,,but im in no hurry...takes another 3-6 min. to shut down, but no hurry..

it shows permanent pop-ups that say "can no longer protect this device" "warning, not protected" "and some russian spyware that wants to sell me marketing in russia..

Windows 2000 -- very outdated and I'm surprised that a system that old would even allow you to access the internet. Is something wrong with you today? If you have a legitimate gripe, I'm all ears. You're way out in left field on this one.

Either that or it's more stable. Once upon a time Microsoft didn't micromanage and monitor your computer....you updated when you wanted to update. Now a days it's all about automatic updates. Just my opinion but I think the newer software might have created a lot of security holes the old software might not have ever been open to;2000 was a different time with a different level of internet sophistication after all lol.
