Now you can post the link to an article and it shows up as a title.

Here's an example:

‘He’s a mess’: Insiders worry Fallon’s partying is getting out of hand (http://nypost.com/2015/11/01/is-jimmy-fallons-partying-getting-out-of-hand/)

Note that this doesn't work as a thread title, just in a post. The reason is because the thread titles are hyperlinks to the thread's page here.

so what you are telling me, is if I post the URL in the article the title will auto post in the title box or do I still have to go to the toolbar?

Nothing will auto post in the thread title box. You still have to type or paste your own titles.

Yes , I see. I tested it.
Articles titles already appear usually the same in the comment box as the typed in article.
I almost always post a URL in all articles. So what happens if I type in a title and the URL has a different title? I guess we'll now have a title and a sub title.:thinking:

Ok. Now I get it.
The actual URL is replaced by a downloadable title which functions in the same way as the url. I didn't try it yet Trinnity but this will only function as a "title" if the URL is posted at the beginning or top of the page. I usually copy/paste some are all of the article and then post the link. So will my title be at the bottom of the post(or wherever i choose to insert it) or will it auto advance to the top of the page?

In any matter it's an improvement over looking at a URL and gives the reader a better idea of what they will be viewing.

As for the postbits on the awards, @SrA Cal (http://thepoliticsforums.com/member.php?u=201), (as you know) I've decided to nix the whole thing and thank you SO MUCH for the instructions you sent to fix that. I got part way through it and couldn't find one of the steps, so I punted to admin. I failed, I'm sorry to say. <dangit>

Well, thanks to your example, I spent 2 hours reading stories about Jimmy Fallon. I get curiouser and curiouser when something interests me. I don't give 2 hoots about Fallon, but I like to read mindless crap. For example, he lives in Gramercy Park, which I now know is gated, very private, and you not only must have a key to enter but must be accompanied by a resident. Also, no dogs allowed.
