Some of you have noticed some minor site glitches. The forum has grown so much it's outgrown the current server. We've put it off a little while, but we need to upgrade to a bigger one. We won't ever have ads here; you hate 'em, we hate 'em. The only alternative is donations, and it takes about $350/year to pay for the server fees.

It's been a long long time since I've asked you all for help, but now is the time. I think we need about $420 total and that will cover us for the next year.

Anyone who can help, please do so. It's very very much appreciated. You all are some of the best people I've ever met on the net and I know we can gather what's needed to keep the site up.

A easier way way is to just pick up a prepaid gift card Visa/MC for whatever amount you want and use that. It works fine and is anonymous. I did it that way.

Some browsers treat it differently. When I shut off Addblockplus and Google pop up blocker it all worked fine. If you're on a iPad no issue. If you're on a PC disabling those helps depending on your browser type. If you're using a mobile device it contribute won't show.

Thanks for the information and the screen shot. It's not only the Contribute button that you're missing, but also the Posts Since Last Visit and Posts in the Last 24 hours. I'll see if I can figure it out.

Some of you have noticed some minor site glitches. The forum has grown so much it's outgrown the current server. We've put it off a little while, but we need to upgrade to a bigger one. We won't ever have ads here; you hate 'em, we hate 'em. The only alternative is donations, and it takes about $350/year to pay for the server fees.

It's been a long long time since I've asked you all for help, but now is the time. I think we need about $420 total and that will cover us for the next year.

Anyone who can help, please do so. It's very very much appreciated. You all are some of the best people I've ever met on the net and I know we can gather what's needed to keep the site up.

Owner/admin told me how much he appreciated it because donations have really dropped off.

I buy VPS' for my business and they can cost <$20 per month. It depends upon how much processing power, RAM and storage you need.

Or, you could use Amazon and pay 5x-10x the cost of other cloud providers, but you get to say that you are using "AWS"
