Given all the "peaceful" Muslims around, those two old lederhosen clad lads best keep those hatchets sharp and handy.

Belgium dark beers are the ones I go for at beer festivals, they really are premium beers.

Love beer from The Continent. I have great experience with them...to wit:

April of 2010 I had finished up three months in Bruges...went to have one tourist weekend in Amsterdam...and was about to fly out and home. BOOM! Iceland has a volcano go mental and...there I was...nine freaking days in the freaking Schipol Airport...sleeping on the carpet. We were all Aussie denizens lumped together because we had the same flight via Singapore. A barkeep's son kept bringing us half priced beers...from everywhere. Yeah...waffles and sauerbraten, too!

Actually...it was great fun! :cool20:

My friend invited me on a business trip to Belgium and Holland as his wingman. Bruge, Ostend, Amsterdam, staying over night in each place.

On an evening after visiting all the museums (coughs) we'd "get down, get get funky" and get arseholed on strong continental Premium Lager beer, the secret is drinking plenty of water whilst drinking your beer, it's always best to order a pitcher of water.

This is what outside Oktoberfest really looks like in the afternoons.
