Any form of government can become fascist. Capitalism becomes fascistic when it becomes corporatism. However, the commonest source of fascism is left ideology, ie Marxism, Stalinism, Nazism, Maoism. Most left wing ideologies start out as socialism or communism and end up as a fascism.

Fascisms can also derive for religions, and personal cults.

Robert Mugabe led a personal cult based on fascism.


Islam contains all the key indicators of fascism. It also explains why there was such an affinity between moslems and nazism in WW2, moslems flocked to join Hitlers 6th army after Hitler met the Grand Mufti of Iran. The common factor between marxism and islam in this respect is antisemitism. Marxism blames the jews as the primary flagwavers for capitalism, whereas islam is simply built on naked jew hate. This is what is driving the current worldwide antisemitic fascism, because the west has allowed its institutions and governments to be infiltrated by moslems.
