He should not be invited and if Harry had an ounce of respect, he would decline so his father can carry on with a tradition over 1000 years old. But he won't. He needs the attention and his wife will make sure he gets that attention.

I get what you’re saying and about the British nuance, there is something to be said about it. No one can smile to your face while shaking your hand, while inwardly wishing you dead like the Brits. You should watch a few episode, if you can find them, of a British Sit com called "Yes Minister". Its about how the British Civil Service works to thwart elected ministers, and the reason its so funny is because it so accurate.
