View Full Version : Change of fair use policy

There's a rule change....

See rule 7
http://thepoliticsforums.com/threads/7-The-Politics-Forums-Terms-of-Service

Now that we're taking donations and have discontinued advertisements, we can ease up on the fair use restriction. You can now post pretty much whatever you wish from an article. I do ask that you not always post whole articles because it's my experience that too much copy/paste results in the reader NOT reading all of what you posted. A good way to get more of it read is to post further portions in follow up posts.

It's a good idea to read over the rules once in a while - as they do change from time to time. It's your responsibility to know and comply with the rules. I try to keep them simple and limited. Too many rules make it difficult on you, the member.

Comments and questions on this thread are welcome.

singling out an individual member in a manner that's negative in any way, or negative toward's the member's family. This includes the thread title or OP. In other words, no criticism of a member in a thread title or OP. No threats, overt or implied. No posting of anything that would draw the attention of FBI.
No divulging of any members personal information unless this person is in the public domain (ie: in the news or a public figure/celebrity) or has made said information public here or elsewhere. A link may be required and is best included.
No racial, bigoted, or personal attacks to any specific member of this forum.
No excessive vulgarity, profanity. No misogynist r

I think s/he's citing what s/he's seen AS a Fair Use Policy,
at another site,
or some actual, official guideline.

fyrenza

It was probably meant to be helpful ~

too bad s/he didn't give a citation for where it came from.

ROFL!

No need. They're all basic.

I try not to read rules, because when I drink I often break rules on purpose. My ignorance is my defense, if I don't know the rule, I will not intentionally break it in a drunken fit of stupidity

1. This forum is not here to protect your feelings to that extent

2. Anyone who divulges personal info deserves to be shot in the face

3. Grow up, personal attacks are wrong, but not all "bigoted" attacks are personal, they are often only seen in the eyes of the idiot "victim" that spots those offenses

4. Fuck off

but so far, my osmosis theory doesn't seem to be working 100%. http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee57/Fyrenza/Forum%20Stuff/kaos-crazybunny09_zps8513d1b8.gif (http://s235.photobucket.com/user/Fyrenza/media/Forum%20Stuff/kaos-crazybunny09_zps8513d1b8.gif.html)

Biggest problem we have today, the left controls the argument, minor offenses become grave, not the fault of anyone here tonight, completely the fault of the progressive movement

Just a question from a "new "guy . I'm old , getting to the dribble stage
I'm senile , can't remember where I live.
I'm old school, meaning any task on a computer is a problem for me I'm a pencil and paper guy.

Do I have special rules because of the above disabilities ? Is there a blue zone available for me ?

And you guys are great ( if that helps me ).
