I would love to visit one day. Always have. I want to see it all!

I've been to both places but it's been a couple decades since. Mexico unfortunately is a shithole that many Liberals would like imported here.

Just do it. Look at (I believe) Iceland flights from NYC...or Norway, can't remember which but you can get round trip for way less than a grand by flying to Lisbon. Fly on a Tuesday, best rates and the pilots are no longer hung-over (LOL).

Unfortunately, and sadly, I have to agree. Cancun was a favorite haunt of ours back in the early 70's. Cozumel and Isla Mujeres were just a short boat ride from Cancun. Lets not forget Tulum and "chicken pizza"(Chichen Itza) for the historical aspects. Well...."That's the way it goes, first your money then your clothes."

Seems that even the big Crime Cartels would want to combat the petty street crime, as they, too, receive good dividends from tourism.....

You couldn't pay me enough to step foot in Mexico. And, before anyone gets the wrong idea, that's been my opinion since I first started to form any.

Spain? Italy? Greece? (before its fall) Even Ireland, and England have always intrigued me.
    But, Mexico? Never.

Sounds like a couple of good beaches to dump off illegals scooped up by ICE. Instead of a bus ride to TJ or Matamoros, we give them a boat ride to Cancun or Acapulco and dump them there.
What is the difference between Cancun and Miami?

    Yes.

And what is the difference between Cancun of that past, and Cancun of today? Simple...the Mexican government, always corrupt, is tenfold MORE corrupt now than it was then.

Rule of Law and social order have broken down.

JUST what the Left wants done to US. IS doing in Baltimore and Detroit.
