I know a bit about Me-Brown James. Son of a bitch was running a scam since high school - he was taking money from NBA recruiters while in high school, AGAINST rules...and they bought him a new Jeep Cherokee. While his sainted momma was on welfare (for him and other pickaninnies) in the housing projects.

And he's miserable in person. I've heard he's hard on drivers and service people - the shuttle service that used to service Collinwood Yard for CSX, also moved professional teams around. He was insufferable to white people and to help.

POS. And I hope the NBA falls with the rest of professional sportsball.
Yep, when he played for St Vincent, it was well known he was driving nice cars etc etc. Yeah, I remember that.

I mowed the grass at the pawn shop today. I made our town look a little better. I mean more to society than him. He just plays with balls and gets paid way to much and ergo, has a really high opinion of himself.
Yep, I'd wrap that in bacon!

    Well of course!

When I need advice on politics, culture, society or religion, I can think of no one more capable of such advice, than a dude who plays basketball for a living, and, who can't cut his own steak......

Hell, I would hire LeBron as my doctor, accountant and lawyer, if he weren't so busy, playing B-ball, and dispensing wisdom.......
Al Swearengen: What's your partner so mad about all the time?
    Sol Star: He's not mad.
Al Swearengen: He's got a mean way of being happy.

He probably is a hero to many black kids who all think they will be just like him some day, making millions for playing a game. Of course, they are sadly mistaken.

Liberal multi-millionaires that play sports or act in movies and TV have little idea what socialism is or what it's adoption in the U.S. would mean, especially to the uneducated poor. Yet they support leftist politicians and preach that black should get more welfare money because they are 'oppressed'.

They never see the irony in the contention, considering folks such as LeBron James are about as far removed from the average black citizen as one can get, no matter how deprived their childhood.

I agree with Laura Ingraham; LeBron, just shut up and keep dribbling the basketball.

    Jim
LeBron James doesn't mean shit to American society whatsoever. Any more than the liberal idiots in Hollywood movies and television, the music industry stars like Madonna, who wants to "blow up" the White House and Roger Waters of "Pink Floyd," whose entire concert performance has a fat balloon floating across the arena with a Donald Trump face, and the inscription "Fuck Trump."

Sorry about the obscenities, but they apply, particularly to LeBron. Just check out what his "value" to society meant to the Cleveland Cavaliers fans when he said sayonara to them to move to Miami and play for the Heat, knowing he needed Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade to bring him a championship. They were burning his jersey in effigy and the Cleveland owner kept an obscene letter posted on his web page regarding James' move to the Sunshine State to play for Miami, up on the internet throughout his entire career here. That included four straight NBA finals appearances and two championships. Cleveland didn't think much of the bastard for those four years - then - viola - all was forgiven, the letter was taken off the web by the Cavs owner, and society hound Lebron returned to that mistake city on the lake after running Heat President and the media around by the nose.

For someone who can do so much for kids through appearances and charity, to get involved in politics is a huge mistake, and his reputation will, and already has suffered greatly, just like the NFL players protesting have. And I write that as a person who saw every home game he played for Miami in his tenure here. He needed Wade and Bosh to make his athletic dreams come true with back-to-back NBA titles with the Heat. When he left Miami, unlike Cleveland's fans who disgraced themselves in their venom for him for leaving, the Heat fans just shrugged! Would we have liked to keep him on the Heat-sure, but it wasn't a big, big deal when he returned to Cleveland. Abandoned South Beach for Euclid Avenue and the Cuyahoga? Shesh

No questioning his talent, particularly carrying the Cavs on his back all the way to the NBA finals. Everyone expected Boston to take them out in the Eastern Conference before being clubbed down again by Golden State. So Kudos for that sports performance, however, then he gets involved, while his team is losing to the Warriors, about neither team visiting the White House if they win the championship, politics is not his forte.

Doesn't know jack! Like the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, who originally scheduled 60-personnel to visit the White House, then when they got the invitation, advised that only 8-10 would be coming. The President pulled a "Rocketman" on him - and withdrew their invitation to visit. Good. He went on step further by going public and telling the media he wasn't going to invite either Cleveland OR Golden State to the White House. Even better!

The Houston Astros got an invite they attended last year after winning the World Series for the first time in their history. The Washington Capitals Stanley Cup Champion hockey team also will visit the White House after winning the cup for their first time in 45-years of existence. The Caps were out toasting and partying with Ivanka and Jared in DC the other night and got along famously with the couple. No anti-Trump butthurt there.

Unfortunately, LeBron is back to his old self, great talent on the basketball court in backward Cleveland, a nothing to society, the same for Stef Curry. Would just once like to hear LeBron speak to the kids and talk about education's importance, and respecting teachers and policemen. I have covered several of his personal appearances when he was in Miami, and he should have let all those "stars in their eyes" children know, that the odds of making it onto ANY NBA ROSTER if you are under 6-5 in height, and actually do get discovered, are 1 in 700,000. The odds are higher for NFL football and Major League Baseball. Shut up, dribble, and languish the rest of your career along the lake LeBron. BTW, the Miami Heat, minus Wade, demolished Cleveland this season when they played.

One sad note, however, is there no end to the leftist conspiracy of idiots against President Trump? Triple Crown winner Destiny vehemently pawed the turf to protest going to the White House for a visit with the President. Well, at least that horses azz can't speak in public like LeBron, although both are on the same intellect level.......... - Stan -

Oh, what makes that amazing, is that Pete did that when freshmen were not allowed on Varsity teams, showing he did it in 3 seasons, to everyone else's 4, and he did it without 3 point line, where he averaged 7 times per game. His 44.7 PPG average would have been well above 50.
Just my pet peeve. No team sportsman should be considered the "best" ever. Too many candidates, and too many considerations.
Pistol Pete died early, unfortunately. And the player who was right behind him those three seasons he played at LSU, is another Hall of Famer, Calvin Murphy, at 5-11, could dunk, led the league in assists most of his playing years in Houston, after turning down a mega-million dollar contract to play with the Harlem Globetrotters who wanted him desperately. 1970's college and NBA era. Calvin Murphy as a FRESHMAN, playing for tiny Niagara University (they and LSU never met in their college years), holds the scoring record in four arenas, no longer in existence. Memorial Auditorium in Buffalo; The Palestra in Philadelphia; Arena in Pittsburgh and the old Madison Square Garden in NYC, before they tore it down. Over sixty points, mostly on jump shots in all four arenas. Both sensational basketball players. Murphy put little Niagara in the NCAA Tournament twice in the three years he played varsity there, and they won a game in the tournament each time. Along with Maravich, Murphy played in the same era as another Hall of Fame great star - Big Bob Lanier of St. Bonaventure's Bonnies....... - Stan -

LeBron James said in an interview Saturday that he just means “too much to society” to not share his political views.

“We will definitely not shut up and dribble. I will definitely not do that,” he said. “I mean too much to society, I mean too much to the youth, I mean too much to so many kids that feel like they don’t have a way out and they need someone to help lead them out of the situation they’re in.”

    alrighty then.

Be careful - Lebron James is..... James Comeys favorite basketball player.

Yes ---- I got Comeys book from the library ; and I am reading it now. I will have a report in a few days. I'm half way through.

James Comey Was Inspired By LeBron James
