    My wife makes an awesome picadillo sauce. Very similar to sloppy joe mix or a chili w/o beans but commmon in Puerto Rican homes.

    Usually spoon it heavily over yellow rice. That is its traditional way of eating picadillo. However, we found that spooning a scoop of picadillo on a bun is Sloppy Joe ambrosia!

    So we call the Sloppy Jose's to celebrate the PR heritage.

    Similar to sloppy joe's but made with Adobo and other select ingredients not usually put in sloppy joe's.


    I remember once when I was a kid, I went to a Halloween party that had platefuls of sloppy joe's! I was in heaven Hawk! I bobbed for apples and ate sloppy joe's until the cows came home!
