    Glen Campbell...81

    A true gentleman.

Excellent songwriter and guitarist...whom I learned so much from. He made many, many more studio cuts for so many people it's hard to list them all. My fav? The Beach Boys, believe it or not.

I'll miss his hooks and genial personality. Nicest guy ya'll'd ever want to meet. I was graced to have spent some q-time...sharing guitars...so very long ago.

If you don't practice...you'll sound like it. And, if you don't tune, your life will sound like it, too. Listen to the intervals. That's where it all hides from you.....

I don't think he was a songwriter? I mean his hits were not written by him?

IIRC, he composed a number of songs.

Which is not to say that the ones he performed, were always his own. But I believe that's how he got into the music biz, big-time...composing lyrics...

I absolutely loved his television show. He showed an astonishing skill on a number of different instruments and always had on people who made it big like Mason Williams, who actually debuted on the Smothers Brothers Show.

Saint Junipero Serra's Legacy - the untold stories of California
A Soldier's Stories - rambling and musing about military life.

    I voted for President Trump!

Yeah, I was sorry to hear that he passed away. He was sort of ubiquitous.
