GA State Election Goes to Run Off

Democrats failed to close out on a GA Special Election for a congressional seat which they claimed was a referendum on the Trump Administration and a sign to come for the mid term elections. Turns out the Democrats aren't nearly as liked as they thought. 9 billion dollars in outside funding, and Hollywood representation, and the left still couldn't buy that seat.

Almost the optimum result given the huge and divided field.

In June Trump will personally campaign and truly make this special election a referendum on his administration. By helping to thrash the leftist, Trump tightens his hold on the GOP.

The GOP was lucky in that the Dems are so deranged by Trump that they thought a far-left wacko could win the seat. A Jim Webb type might have won outright.

As long as the party of Jim Crow continues to reject Mudcat Saunders, Jim Webb and the Blue Dogs (all big players in their 2006 Congressional takeover) I remain confident that Trump will dominate.

Yes, considering the GOP contender got 20% despite having 11 different competitors is enlightening. That's a large margin when considered how many times the vote had to be divided to even get that result. The left is going to celebrate how the election was close but this is going to be like the POTUS election.

This is the second time that the left has had their hops dashed on the rocks of reality. They out spent Trump and lost, now they out spend the Republican candidate in Georgia and all they got for their money was a run off election. I wonder when they are going to get the message that money does not necessarily equal a win, there are people out there that you just can't buy.
Humble yourself, for there is an enormous change coming.

2018 could be a tough year for the Party of Jim Crow.

Bottom line: Both Ossoff and anti-Trumpism filed.

I notice that the polls are saying Ossoff has a lead in the run off. it is way to early for either side to claim final victory. However, it should be noted that prior to this election it had been decades since the Democrats were competitive.

Those are the same polls that said Ossof was going to win half a month ago when this first election happened to begin with. It's a historically red area and the polls have misjudged election results for nearly 2 years now. I wouldn't bother paying attention to the polls...just the end result. Also, factor in Ossof has literally no experience in politics or leadership, so even though he thinks he can win by being "not Trump" that's not going to be good enough for his citizens. That alone is going to motivate opposition more so than support.
