    Probably not.
Oh! My hard drive is encrypted once I log off, that is awesome.

    I highly recommend this OS.

It's umm, Linux Fedora 25 Security Lab.

Very nice and user-friendly. Also useful for cracking your neighbor's wifi if he needs you to.

No viruses will affect it or anything, choose the encrypt option on install and your hard drive is encrypted on logoff.

    Much win!

    Download Fedora Security Lab

I doubt it. In order for it to hit the HD, it must go through a lot of very fine wires and traces. I wouldn't count on it, it will undoubtedly destroy anything nearby.

What would be the purpose of a flash drive like this?

No, but I know what you can do.

Use an ssd and Parted Magic and use the "Enhanced Secure Erase" option. That nukes your ssd back to factory.

The other options are like, DBAN and you gotta "zero out" the whole drive n stuff. Could take a few hours.

Pfft. It takes me 4 minutes to wipe a drive, 4 more to install a new OS ready to go.

I even have one for "Indian Microsoft technical support" ready to go.

"Beef,it's what's for dinner" desktop. Wireshark running to trace their ISP, Notepad with big letters to tell them all about their "untouchable" selves.

Last time they called I was on Linux. I played along until they got mad.

They're dirty them Indians, I tell ya.

They deleted my whole "Program Files X86" folder right in front of my eyes.
then demanded a credit card number to "put it back"

They can't do that. I was just messing with them anyways.

I told them: "Get bent, you untouchable filth"

They did ruin that Windows install, though. Like monkeys.

    Malicious destruction.

There were times I would have LOVED to have one to use on the railroad computers...with their electronic time slips and train reports, playing "Twenty Questions" with people dead tired. When they KNEW the information, and would reject the entire form and wipe it if you entered wrong.

One of those, and fry those damn computer terminals....again and again, until they give up and either just print out the data from their own memory, or go back to paper timeslips...

Too often asshole supervisors and managers use computers as an harassment tool.

You could too, probably for around $12 (to get the usb stick, OS is free)

I got this one for free, benefits of being a nerd.
