Mardi Gras wasn't canceled? I thought for sure it would be, all those people, coming from hundreds of different places?

Three weeks ago, we didn't know what we know now.

And three weeks from now, we'll probably have different understandings, yet.

There is a 90 degree bend...we tried, believe me. The BIG problem was the nest of bull ants that took up residence in the years of leaf litter and sticks that have built up where we had to work. We raked it out...and...poured gasoline over the area. That stopped 'em!

What we decided...is to make a permanent ladder out of 2x4's that'll fit in there. We'll get to it in a bit.......

Went in (like they said) for 10:00 am to get Knucklehead. They want me back at 2:00 pm, instead. He needs more IV antibiotics and his first poop so they can test it to see what's going on. I sure miss my constant shadow!!!!

could you send me a pm pic? or post one here? sounds like your spiggot and 90 have no exposed pipe between. ( you could cut off the 90 anyway and chisel out the stub and then fish a 1 1/2 pipe through the valve and dig a ditch in the clutter at the base of the tank before breaking it through. )

My dog found a Killdeer nest in the yard, you know, they nest right on the ground, they don't build any kind of nest, just lay their eggs in the dirt/gravel etc....these eggs were laid in some river rocks I have, that I'm trying to decide what to do with.

Wed seen the male doing the, broken wing act and, did try to stay away from that area, but, early this morning, hubby let the dog out and, a few hours later, saw 3 eggs strewn around the yard.....the Killdeer are no longer here.

I feel so bad about it, I'm gonna say, i first noticed the pair a couple weeks ago, so, the eggs were within a couple weeks of hatching.

I hope Knucklehead will be ok and that he is your dog and not your 'wife'?

Well, I decided to go check out some stores while waiting for hubby to get done with his procedure.

Tractor supply, I didn't expect it to be sold out of things, all shelves well stocked, even if people can't eat, our animals can! Bought 2 bags of senior feed and, salt blocks.

Home depot, you can get cleaners, laundry products, the shelves aren't full, but, you could definitely get what you needed, there's a limit, 4 of the same product, per customer, 4 cases of water, per customer, there's LOTS of water, surprisingly....I went to the garden section and bought a large bag of Gladiolus bulbs.

No one wearing masks, no one avoiding people, no one in panic/frantic mode, everyone real friendly.
    Good to hear, @Abbey1.
I still think this got blown too far out of proportion. Let's hope all sanity returns soon.

    Oh... How's your husband?
