I got me a month to polish my rhythm tacks before people start arriving. Okay...I had a good hour...yeah...it's alright...so, I knock off...go out into the lounge room...stretch out...and look up.

Over 1000 baby spiders fanning out from mama. She went for a swim down the toilet and I vacced up a shipload.

My kid helped get rid of em.

Slept almost 12 hours. I needed it.
Gunna rain all day so I went all out for breakfast.
Bacon, eggs, cheese grits with sliced Vienna sausage. Yum.

Kinda crazy to cook all of that for just one person.

I had a dream about @Madison last night.
We were test flying a small plane with hair dryers for engines.
It flew great . Took lots of humidity out of the air and her long hair was rockin' fine like music video chicks from the 80's.

I used to eat like that. Just a few years ago, even.

Down the road, there's a restaurant/bar/"casino" (the term has a different meaning in Montucky; a gas station-cum-convenience-store with five slot machines, is a "casino" - and no big ones are permitted, except on Tribal land)

...but they had a breakfast special to die for. I forget the name of it - but it was, four eggs, a whole griddle of hash browns, biscuits and gravy...sausages...AND toast of your choice...$13.95. Eat that, and you won't need to eat all day.

If you're healthy. Diabetes messes with metabolism, and the worst thing you can do, is pig-out at a meal. So I no longer partake - and anyway, the flour in the gravy and the potatoes in the hash-browns, are no-nos for me now.

But the memory just drives me wild. All the weekend brunch buffets at Golden Corral...if the one you're near is well-run...

    ......but, but....where's the bacon?
$14 seems rather expensive to me. Especially for a few years back.

    Chef Hawk budget meal:

    4 eggs-30 cents

    Regular grits(not instant)- 10 cents
    [A 5lb. Bag is $1.99]

One pound of Wright's Bacon ends and pieces-about $2.00
[Just as lean as regular bacon but odd cut ends and slices. A 3 lb. pack is 7.98. I usually slice the whole pack semi-frozen(facilitates slicing) into 3 or 4 portions]

    About $2.50 total.

Been busy and have not been on the forum in some weeks. I've been doing the normal thing for me and worrying about future careers. I won't bore you with the redundant stuff but I'll tell you I've decided to go into politics but not elected politics. I was invited to apply for a paid internship on Capitol Hill and I've been in touch with a conservative think tank (I won't say which until something becomes solid, if it does, but I guarantee you all have heard of it and know it) about seeking positions on Congressional Reform. I'm also attending CPAC this year. I've already bought the tickets and I'm looking into hotels tomorrow. I'll take a stack of resumes with me.
