Yep, I'd wrap that in bacon! KEEP AMERICA GREAT, TRUMP 2020

    I don't, huh?

Maybe you don't think so. My two years' experience as a hotel desk clerk, says otherwise.

Good for you. Sometimes it's hard telling if you're doing him any favors when it comes to cigs, though. As in, maybe making him crave them all the more. But, dang it, the man is an adult, and it ought to be his choice.

When my dad was dying of cancer, he wanted a beer. He was at home, and I woulda gladly given him one, but my mom went into apoplexy: "What are you trying to do, kill him?!" I wanted to say, "No, make his dying days a little more comfortable," but ya don't do that w/my mom. We'd've chanced being thrown out of her home.

She actually had hopes of him recovering. Right up until 5 minutes before he died. No exaggeration. Loved my mom, but her denial through all of that kinda ticked me off.
I've only had two beers in dog years.

When you are dead, you don't know that you are dead.
It is difficult only for the others.
It is the same when you are stupid.

Old Tom is not long for the world, he was not in the best of shape when I met him 9 years ago. He had quit drinking but smoked 2 packs a day and smoked reefer like it was going out of style. He would eat an entire pack of bacon in a sitting and lived in filth but he was our neighbor and we often visited. He would tell Jesus good things about me if I carried him a dooby but that's taking it too far, lol!

Yeah, when someone is in the dusk of their life, they should no be begrudged a few vices.

Dang shame ya can't bring the guy a doobie. Sounds like he's more than earned at least a toke or two.

I hate the way we, as a society - generally speaking - treat our dying. My husband and/or I will be at home. If I'm around, and my husband wants a beer, by golly, he'll have one. Or 6, if that's what he wants.
