Because it should be either a citizen or not a citizen. Second class citizenship was abolished as a concept worldwide, when Poland was moved out of Nazi control. If we decide to give and revoke citizenships any day, it is like telling your bisiness that today I pay for your services rendered but tomorrow I kick you and take the money back. People need some kind of framework to live in, total chaos is only good for criminals.

You would be correct if a person gave up the other citizenship and was wholly and solely a citizen of the United States. In cases of dual citizenship the individual already has citizenship elsewhere they lose nothing.

There are VERY few countries that sign up to such a philosophy and even they do it only because of a recent war. In a world where corporations, jobs, and money move freely without borders, locking people behind borders is against public interest. And if you think a deported person loses nothing, then how about his job, his business, his home, his residence. I am amazed that a jewish person argues for deportation instead of against it.

There are consequences to committing a deportable offense. No less than someone sent to prison.

Are you talking about the law, or are you talking about what you would like the law to be? If you are talking about the law, then the law is that dual citizenship is legal as is in 99 % of all countries of the world.

True. We do not deport dual citizens. We should just on the basis of equity. A dual citizen can toddle off to their other home country at any time.

Although with obumbles pogrom against banks many dual citizen Americans are giving up their American citizenship anyway.

What do you mean by equity? Big government taking away their assets and businesses because the have-nots want a piece of it? I didn't know you were a communist. This was the 1st legislation the Soviet Union passed in 1917.

Do you know anyone that has ever committed a deportable offense and been deported? Look into what offenses result in deportation so you have some understanding that no one is picking names out of a hat to steal their stuff.

I know quite a number of American immigrants, and none of them deserve deportation, no matter how dark their skin is or how many day jobs they steal from you whilst standing at the corner at 5am every morning, when no American would even consider getting out of bed. You are a racist. And even if they did commit a crime, that's why America has prisons, why should they get worse?

And so drive back America into the stone age for everyone. No thank you, I like the USA more than that.
