The PA governor has been doing a lot. Just learned he fired the state Fire Commissioner so that he could replace him with a democrat. Absurd. Does the safety of the community mean nothing to Democrats??!

It was sarcasm @Cal.I thought I've posted enough that regular members would have known it was...Maybe I'm not as popular as I thought....*more sarcasm*

But this particular pick looks like a political statement rather than the choice of the right person.
That's the nub of it. Leftists are all about appointing tokens regardless of whether they are appropriate for the job or the situation. Is this appointment about appointing the best person for the job or about making yet another in your face appointment of a homosexual?

I'm not really up on my PA public servants' qualifications....but if I HAD to guess...I'd say the latter. I don't care if you put a trans in the freaking White House...as long as he/she is qualified.

If personal choices in sexuality becomes more of an issue than actual qualifications because political reasons, the public is screwed!
Progressivism is not progressive. Oppression is ended and equality is achieved not by advancing anyone but by retarding the achievements of some.

Social justice is punitive, not restorative. No one is restored under a progressive system, but people are often punished in order to guarantee equal outcome.
