Our lemon tree is still full, and we still have oranges, tangerines and grapefruit. The loquat and the apricot trees are are starting to produce and the apple is starting to bud again after hubby whacked it last fall.

Progressivism is not progressive. Oppression is ended and equality is achieved not by advancing anyone but by retarding the achievements of some.

Social justice is punitive, not restorative. No one is restored under a progressive system, but people are often punished in order to guarantee equal outcome.

So Cal. It sounds like the only difference is we have 3 walnut trees. I would love to have pecans! I've seen a few out here but not many. Our house was built in an area that was a walnut grove. This year I'm after a macadamia tree!

Well, I have a pecan,plum,2 apple,2 peach,3 plum,2 fig, orange, lemon and 4 blueberry bushes. I have 2 asparagus patches, 6 artichoke seedlings I started about 3 weeks ago, Jerusalem artichokes started. I planted snow peas,Alaskan peas, okra, pole beans, green onions, spinach, squash but only 2 plants, brussel sprouts, bell pepper,Cheyenne peppers, garlic and beats. Oh! and watermelon. I plant in patches within flowers and the landscape. I don't normally plant corn of tomatoes cause I can get them cheaply. I make compost and started using the tea instead of miracle grow. I raise worms and use their waste also. Most of this I learned from my grandparents before they died. We plant what we eat and eat what we plant. I am actively trying to hide my food sources in plain view within my landscape. This year I plan to build a chicken coop large enough to produce 10 chickens a month for food. I bookmarked Toefoot's chicken link and have been doing a lot of studying on how to raise them. When things start to progress I will show pictures of what I am trying to do.
