    Yes Ceramic coated is a good option for those that want the benefits of cast iron, but do not want to mess with seasoning and maintaining a cast iron pot/pan

    You pretty much need a teflon coated non-stick pan if you're frying eggs. And they're very helpful for pancakes too.

    Actually, for the most skilled pancake makers, iron works the best, but for most other people, non-stick makes it much easier.
