Many times I have tried to explain on this forum why universal healthcare is always the precursor to all the different variants of socialism, and all the ills that befall nations taking that path.

UHC grows federal bureacracy. Each agency of each bureau spawns many others, and it becomes an almost unbeatable leviathon of block voting power.

Canada Post employees vote in unison with CUPE, teachers, and ATU and CAW PA and CHCW etc, etc, etc. The list is enormous.

It isn't even trying to get a grasp on how many current Federal employees there are that block vote our country into a beaten submission...it is trying to get a grasp on how many family members vote in unison with their government working parent, and, how many RETIRED Federal employees in this horror show keep block voting - to keep the gravy train going for themselves.

You end up with a beaten and vote lethargic populace barely even rising to challenge the union vote organized mob of the seemingly eternal federal bureaucracy.

That your President...your brilliantly clever President has chipped away from your (still fairly powerful) private sector unions that had historically block voted Dems...is a breath of hopeful fresh air for America.

Obama for 8 years was working the Federal Unions in America, and it started as it always does, with UHC as the foundation.
I used to post on a liberal forum where Leo Gerard was a frequent guest contributor peddling his socialism, along with Christine Pelosi, as i mentioned in another thread. Leo's writing skills are very good. Although, I'm not sure if he or someone else actually penned the words.

Those were great discussions. Sometimes I wish we had guest contributors but we would probably have to pay them.

Turdo was narrowly re-elected because of the number of ridings in high density urban centers. Toronto and Vancouver elected him.

Much like how NY, LA and SF, etc., are the tails that wag the dog in American State elections.

The only bright light on the horizon is that historically in Canada, minority federal governments don't last long before a non confidence vote topples them.

    Here's hoping.

What I would like to see in Canada is the Government that win is the Government with more votes..not # of seats

And what about that, @Canadianeye and @FirstGenCanadian? Is there any hope of toppling him?
Pelosi has managed to become more hated than Hillary.

Years ago in UK if the PM and his party committed just one "offence" of damaging the country they were booted out quickly.
In Canada it seems as Trudeau is literally destroying the country, morally and structurally, yet the people carry on.
This man - TRUDEAU - is full-on, in your face, a vile, stupid, dangerous, nasty bit of work - it would appear by this logic that the Canadians would accept criminals with a prison record as PM... I am shocked beyond the pale to see how stupid the Canadian people are. You used to lead the world. What is wrong with you people????????!!!!!!!!

Canadians (huwhites) are now officially minorities in their own cities of Toronto and Vancouver. We've been overrun. Canada's pretty much over.
