What does the weight on the front do that you mentioned?

There are some rip off brands, one with a pic rail I might get for my .45 expert.
How does it impact group size for you?

It doesn't really affect group size for me. It is more of a target re-acquisition aid. It takes the normal recoil impulse and softens it to a rolling push sensation. Once familiar with that, I could place my next shot on target faster. I had been looking for a Merkle weight for 7 years before I found a group buy on HKPro. There is a second buy but it looks like the primary mover behind it has absconded with everyone's money. He's in Europe so it will be hard to find and prosecute him. Sad for those guys.

That thing looks nice, I've been wanting to look into a USP 45 but I kind of let myself get talked out of it when a friend of mine handed me a vp9 and let me dry fire it... The trigger was horrendous to which he assured me that the USP was about the same. I still haven't gotten my hands on a usp to find out for myself.

But damn that vp9 was awful, I expected so much better from h&k.
There are several trigger variants. The USP expert, tactical, and elite all have the match trigger which is pretty good single action.
In most variants, an match trigger can be installed.
Not a good idea to post a picture of your personal hand gun with the serial number exposed. I read that ANTIFA terrorists can use that to dox you and find out where you live and work.
