Seattle solves homeless crisis – with one-way bus tickets

Only Libtards could come up with solutions like that.
(Maybe not. Seems to me more of a right-wing solution than the other way around.)
The program would provide a bus ticket and meal vouchers to any homeless person who could prove they were going to live with a family member. They would not be allowed to move to a county adjacent to King County.
Get ;em far enough away that they’re not likely to come back.

When brother in law was homeless, guess who paid for the bus ticket.

If they are going to go back to family, then family can pay. As long as it is someone else's money, Dems and liberals don't have any limits!

Can you imagine the uproar and calls for his head if Donald Trump suggested such a thing? The hypocrisy of the left is truly stunning.

Don't worry about Seattle and it's homeless. They're done.

Give the homeless push brooms and tell them that if they want to partake in any "social programs" they need to sweep the streets and sidewalks. Remind them of the words of, I believe, Capt. John Smith who stated "If you don't work, you don't eat" Implement this policy and see how quickly the homeless population declines.

A bus ticket as a means of disposing of the unwanted is no new thing. A black neighbor and friend left NC for California. This was maybe 40 years ago. He had both mental and physical problems, but when his mind was clear, he was a good person. The folks in California (LA, I think) gave him a free bus ride back to NC.

This isn't a solution, either. I hate to even-partially take the side of the homeless, here...but I kinda saw it coming. Out of the Nav, I had a job offer with AAA California, as a claims-adjuster trainee. Pay would have been $37,000 out the door.

A quick look at Bay Area housing costs (which I didn't know, living on a ship in Alameda) told me I'd be looking at a luxurious, quiet bridge loft. Open floorplan, but probably sharing with "neighbors." I bailed. Back then, I loved SF...queer-boyos notwithstanding; but I could see things were not going in the right direction.

I expect that most people making under $50k - and that's virtually all new-hires, even in tech industries; as well as most non-technical jobs - they're forced to either live in flophouses or on sidewalks or in cars. It's a vicious circle: Can't get started because the pay is too low; and can't move up the ladder because you're not able to accept relocations or different starting times, or wardrobe costs, or evening study of advancement materials. Your credit is trash. You have nothing, no life, no hobbies, and your mindset and even behavior suffers.

It is time to move. Where? A town you know, where you can actually get a place for the kind of pay for the kind of work you know.

What this means to Seattle is, they are going to be a town of tech geeks and aerospace engineers, and no one to pick up the trash, patch the holes in the roads...stock the grocery-store shelves...run their coffeehouses and curio shops. No one to staff the receptionist's desk at the places they work.

NOTHING BUT overpaid autistic savants. It's not gonna be pretty, as they try to bring in more illegals to live on the streets, the way Americans won't do.

This message has been hidden because CNN is on your ignore list.

When you are dead, you don't know that you are dead.
It is difficult only for the others.
It is the same when you are stupid.
