    Not if it's done over four hours...full stomach...and...the wine is made with little or no sulphites.
    If you don't practice...you'll sound like it. And, if you don't tune, your life will sound like it, too. Listen to the intervals. That's where it all hides from you.....

    That'd work for most people but when it comes to wine I'm a light weight. I'm normally out in 1 - 2 hours after my evening snort.

    I "work" after dinner in the studio. Wine works for me!

    I see a bunch of old people .....

    j/k

    I have suffered from insomnia off and on throughout my life.

    I used to 'fight' it which only made it worse.

    Then I decided to work with insomnia by accepting it.
    Accepting insomnia made the situation better for me but not so great for my family.

    SLEEP meds didn't work for me. I hated the side effects.

    What does work is Melatonin - an otc supplement.

    Try it.

    @Northern Rivers

    I almost hated to post here because I sleep like a log unless I am really upset by something. I'm a night-owl, usually in bed by midnight. I say my prayers [yes!] and then I lie down and read my mystery books. That's a lifelong habit and I read for at least an hour before falling asleep. I usually sleep until 9AM in the morning.

    What almost scares me is that I do not move during all those hours of sleeping and sometimes wake up with my hip or shoulder hurting because I slept like a rock.

    The long time drummer of symphonic metal band Nightwish had to step down because of chronic insomnia. I feel for anyone that goes through that. Man, I'm cranky if I don't get my full 8 hours.

    I know. It's sad how many people have trouble sleeping but I notice that some take naps during the day and that isn't going to help the problem. Truth to tell, I sleep so deeply that when I wake up in the morning my breathing is so shallow that I wonder how I survived the night, lol.

    I'm pretty nocturnal. Watched the sun come up before bedtime, the other day. But usually in bed before 5 am. Wake up around one pm. Drinking and the internet dont help but I have no schedule to speak of. One day, that will change.
    Yep, I'd wrap that in bacon! KEEP AMERICA GREAT, TRUMP 2020
