I first realized it at the end of January or beginning of February 2017 and made my first post calling it a coup attempt in February 2017. "Coup-cou-cachu" someone said repeatedly. I also realized we were in the final decade before our first real civil war sometime in 2016. People laughed. People still do.

My prediction accuracy rate is quite high. Not that it matters.

Democrats are still unable to accept the 2016 election and are now to the point of thrashing and flailing around trying to hit at anything and everything in sight. They are rabid and unstable. We can't convince them they are wrong. All we can do is watch and hopefully someone with the power to do it will keep them from hurting anyone in their frenzy.

There's not a straight jacket big enough to control the Democrat party.

Queue Kamala Harris: if we don't investigate this, how are we supposed to know it didn't happen?

Those who are attacking the Justice know damn well impeachment is completely out of the question.
So, why are they doing it?
IMHO it's to affect the decisions he makes on cases before the court. Intimidate him to take the "safe" course to avoid further attacks.
I'm positive it won't work. And the other justices will see this as an attack on the institution they serve and will join to support him.

I can imagine the US breaking into two distinct parts: a Red US and a Blue US.

Over 150 years ago, it was the blue versus the gray.

Nowadays, it may well become the blue versus the red...
