    To call this problem HOMELESSNESS merely covers up what it really is. These are people who cannot or will not live in society. 95% of them are drug addicts or mentally ill (or both). This problem was CREATED and is PERPETUATED by the prog's. Because their emotion-driven minds will not allow for a rational logical approach to changing it, it will only get worse. Prog's are incapable of dealing with the realities of life, and things like this are the consequence. This will EXPLODE into a far worse problem, resulting in the collapse of these cities, and the flood of people fleeing to other places to escape the madness. Unfortunately, it is these very people who will bring their failed ideology to the places they flee to. After all, it was THEY who created the problems in the first place. And the cycle will continue.

    My Grandmother survived the Depression and making it through was called families back then. In this economy who can be homeless other than people seeking dependency as a way of life with very few exceptions.

    I believe it's more like 33%.

    However, around where I am, it's probably more like 45%. Might even be 65% if you count weed smokers, though it's difficult to say how much that actually contributes to their situation.

    I think it's a good solution.

    Let's cook this down. The BEST solution to homelessness, is enforcement of Vagrancy ordinances.

    Today's krackpot kourts won't allow that.

    This is second best. HOWEVER it is they cannot afford housing - because new construction is forbidden, or whatever - they cannot afford to live there.

    They have no home there.

    Time to roll them on, to someplace they can afford to live.

    And then Seattle will have to deal with a society where everyone is a manager, and no one who would pick up the garbage, can live in the city.



    Look. I'd have liked to live in Aspen. Nice mountain town. Beautiful views. Nice people (all of them rich society people).

    BUT I CANNOT afford to live there. Back when I was living in Colorado, the Aspen McDonalds and coffee-house staffs...all lived in National Forest campsites in the summer. Seriously. The school gymnasium had showers open to the public - to "campers." Not meaning people like me, just spending a night, but to the fry cooks and counter girls who worked at the Aspen Mickey Dee's.

    Seattle, being a thousand times bigger, doesn't have that option - and doesn't want it.

    So. Let them bus the vagrants out of town.

    The cities kick out their true mentally ill to save money for buying votes.

    My wife and I were down town and this young girl that was almost clean and out of her mind. She kept pulling all the the stuff out of her purse and sorting it out on a news paper box. She was chatting the whole time we ate. When she got done, she would repeat.
    Now the cities can help illegals.
    I don't sweat things beyond my control.
