Apparently Bolton was in favor of a Libyan solution for North Korea.

Considering how Libya turned out, I really can't see how anybody would even consider the mere concept of a "Libyan Solution" to begin with.

Excellent move Mister President. One less WAR mongering fool to get us into another endless conflict/War
James 1:19 says, "Let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath." Being “slow to speak” is the exact opposite to speaking pressingly or with urgency. Practically speaking I believe its all about getting into the habit. Wait before you speak and consider the effects of what you are going to say. Then, if you don’t have anything to say that is constructive or edifying, don’t say anything at all!

While I was no big "fan" of Bolton's, on the day that it is announced that Iran DOES have thermonuclear hydrogen bombs and the missile systems to deliver them with, he's sure to be laughing his ass off!''

. "What? This surprises you?! Are you just incalculably STUPID?!"
    Sic transit gloria America....

I seriously doubt that President Trump intends to acquiesce to fighting any war "endless[ly]." That is why he is removing almost all of our troops from Afghanistan--and has already done so with regard to Syria.

And I believe that he intends to fight wars only with the express purpose of winning them (just as we did in WWII)--not merely arriving at some unsatisfying "settlement."

Hopefully he doesn't get us into endless conflicts. He uses his negotiating skills first & foremost

I too think it was a good post. I do, however, have a little different take on the matter of Bolton and the Middle East.

Bolton is a man with a strong personality. Trump is too. When one must function under the other then there is bound to be disagreement and conflict. Bolton resigned because Trump fired him. That is usually how it works.

Personally, I like both of them. A lot. Neither is diminished by the termination.

As for the Middle East. In my view it is they who " drag us into their fights". Not one country over there can be regarded as a true friend. Not one. Yes, Israel is excepted because it is hated even more than we are.

The only way to win a war is to win it. Unfortunately, using your fists is required. Bolton knows it. So does Trump. Netanyahu knows it as well. Thank God for all three. The last thing we need in the white house is another weakling like Obama.

I do not think it is possible to " team the Saudi bunch with Israel" at all. Muslims may not see eye to eye on many things but hatred towards Israel is not on the list. Secondly, Iran with nuclear weaponry is not solely the problem facing Israel since you can bet that Israel will take care of the threat in short order. The central problem is that it will lead to a world war immediately.

North Korea does not have factions, nor does it have terrorists. Nor does it have Muslims.
