Fluoride in water may explain IQ problems with kids

this would explain lots. Government mandated. Plus teachers doing their dumbing down and you have a class of citizens who can't do a thing without the government leading them by the nose.
Sarah Sanders doesn't often mop the White House Press Corp Floor...but when she does, she uses Jim Acosta.

There is no American free press. They're bought and paid for.

I guess fluoride might be one of the guesses as to how stupid people are.

My theory is that it's exactly like Darwin said. Children turn out like their parents. It's just natural that when 2 morons breed their children will be even dumber than their parents. If I'm right can you imagine what will be running around 2 generations from now?

So maybe it's just horse sense....... it's okay to be dumb as long as you have good teeth.

I would point out that not all fluoride is added to the water. Fluoride is a naturally occurring substance & some areas of the country have very high levels of it in their water. I guess the thing to do would be compare those areas with other areas.

In the above article, and from Thyroid books I have read, it has been said that fluoride blocks the absorption of iodine. And sufficient iodine is needed for proper thyroid function.

The article below will explain how underactive Thyroid affects a child's brain.

How Iodine Deficiency May Affect Your Child's Brain Function and IQ
There are various foods, like raw cruciferous vegetables, that can block the absorption of iodine but fluoride can block the absorption too. You can avoid eating too much of the wrong foods but it may be difficult for some families to avoid drinking the water.

I am more inclined to blame the teachers unions and putting "discipline problems" on medication. Teachers will not extend the effort if pay is based on time teaching instead of performance. Plus it is difficult to study when you are zoned out on drugs.

Schools need to start educating children, not warehousing them.
