Yes, but there was plenty of light on the Titanic. The lights didn't go out until the ship was minutes away from going away forever - sometime after 2 a.m. on 4/15/12.

    And, it was night time.......
And it sank 2.5 hours after hitting the iceberg and the passengers were not immediately aware that it was gonna sink.

Shades of the famous John Jacob Astor remark, I think it was him, saying - "I rang for ice, but this is ridiculous."
Setting up for a photo shoot in the middle of a sinking ship, would have been crazy. Even George Eastman's famous graphic cameras were not in production in 1912. There are no Civil War photographs of troops in action - would have been a blur, any taken. One had to be in a posed stationary position - and with the ship sinking, the panic of passengers crowding the lifeboats, the women and children being put on first - the famous Titanic band playing and going down with the ship - taking a photograph of the action would have been the last thing on anybody's mind I would imagine. Also remember, there were no ships anywhere around the Titanic when it hit the iceberg.

In addition to the horrible loss of life of the unsinkable ship (anything made of steel can sink), Mexico also suffered a terrible loss with the Titanic going down. After its visit to New York City, the ship's next stop was Vera Cruz, Mexico, to deliver the 300,000 gallon cans of mayonaise carried in its cargo hold. Mayonaise is a delicacy in Mexico - and they named a memorial holiday to commemorate the loss - still celebrated today.........Sinko Da Mayo!

But, we have a lot of pictures of Jesus and I know people who actually think that's what he looks like. People are better than we usually think they are but dumber.

I heard that it was because the stewards shut off the WiFi. Nobody could upload anything before the ship went down.

Trump sent a Marconi message to a Ukrainian on board Titanic and he took care of things.
