    Let's pretend the Left is not dominated by ultra radical ideology. That way we can be like the Republicans in Congress who want to "compromise" and capitulate their way into winning the Neville Chamberlain award 38 years running.

    And we can also be like Fox News and have a never ending series of mini-debates so the unhinged can babble on for their allotted 4 minutes. It shows we care for the handicapped.

    Or we can be clear headed and logical and treat them like the toddlers they are. Spanking is still legal isn't it?

    It's a moot point, now - there's no f'n WAY we're going to have an Article V convention in this atmosphere - but that's all that will save us from some sort of civil war or breakup.

    FDR did that. He faced an aging Court and he served almost 4 terms. He did not have to pack the court to entirely remake it.
