That would be us. We're several generations behind in updating the software. This version hasn't updated since 2012.

I'm not here enough to push for this anymore and no one wants to hear it. I only check in every so often and this is one of the forums I look at. I might not post anything more than this either. I'm just not here.

I'll do some testing but I suspect, as I've said in the past, as systems get older they don't mesh well with new technologies emerging. Eg: every time your browser updates new technology and programming is added to it.

    This is hotlinked:

So you can see how that worked. Just start hotlinking the images.

Press your image button --> from url --> post the image url --> uncheck "Retrieve remote file and reference locally"

    "updating the software"..."upgrading"

I haven't been a member of a forum that uses VB in many years. When i 1st joined the web site i had to refresh my memory on how to navigate the features. When i tried to put an attachment in a post, it drove me nuts. I saw the file manager which i haven't seen in years & i thought of VB so i scrolled to the bottom of the page to confirm.

VB used to be a solid/stable software, but, like many businesses over time cut corners & eventually it's a bad product. I recall some years ago reading in many forums people demanding a refund from VB.

I've been a member of forums that used the latest version of VB & it is crap. Just want to give a heads up if the web site is considering upgrading to the latest VB version, no one will happy.

If the web site is seriously considering some type of upgrade, i would suggest XenForo. I don't know if switching vendors if there would be data loss & maybe all members will be newbies.

Joe is senile, Bernie is a communist, and Warren is a
