Washington Post: Democrats should confront their revolutionaries before itís too late

Normally I wouldn't post the crap from the WashintonCompost. but I took this off a site I go to and as they have read it, they think Jeff Bezos (who owns the rag) and others are getting worried about the"dumb Broad squad" being front and center. I find it hilarious. President Trump is truly a genius in EXPOSING this to us. Trump in 2020. the link for the Compost is in the article if you wish to go there.

Itís been decades since Democrats had to confront a genuine challenge from the far left...

The cracks in the party were most evident last week after Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) casually deployed the race card against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).

To be sure, Ocasio-Cortezís side swipe ó implying Pelosi singled her and her progressive allies out for criticism because they are women of color ó was bad enough. But the real depth of the challenge Democrats face is better seen by looking at comments from Ocasio-Cortezís chief of staff, Saikat Chakrabarti...

Observers may wonder why Ocasio-Cortez and her chief of staff are engaging in this internecine battle. From the viewpoint of the evolutionary left, such efforts are futile and self-defeating...

Chakrabarti let the cat out of the bag in a recent extensive profile in The Post magazine. According to the report, Chakrabarti told an aide for Washington Gov. Jay Inslee (D), a presidential candidate, that his bossís Green New Deal ďwasnít originally a climate thing at all.Ē ďDo you guys think of it as a climate thing?Ē Chakrabarti says, ďBecause we really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing.Ē You canít get much more revolutionary than that...

Itís no coincidence that the Green New Deal speaks as much about ensuring quality jobs and helping ďfrontline and vulnerable communitiesĒ as it does about reducing greenhouse gas emissions. It also calls for an ďeconomic mobilization on a scale not seen since World War II,Ē uprooting the U.S. economy with the government calling the shots...

If the entire U.S. economy must be uprooted ó if the United States is inherently a ďracist systemĒ ó then those who propose evolutionary change are as culpable as those who oppose any change at all. They must be opposed as strenuously...

I said that's what they were doing years ago. I said it here. I'm sure I'm not the only one who figured it out.

Wow I missed it. I thought it was a "How to turn the U.S. into less than a 3rd world country" thing.

You have to wonder how many of these "elite" thinkers have thought this whole bullshit through. Do they feel secure enough to feel insulated from a socialist revolution where their shit won't be taken from them? Surely they haven't thought it out. That's what is so mind boggling to me. Our own media is asking us to become serfs and slaves to a communist state. They are obviously bought and paid for and promised a golden parachute.............that, or they are utterly insane.

Victor Davis Hanson discussed the same issue yesterday. I posted it. He couched in French Revolution terms: Girondists vs. Jacobins.

    Replying to @Jaketapper

2/ "The president won this one," said House Dem 1 of the Trump v Squad (AOC, Tlaib, Omar & Pressley) showdown. "What the president has done is politically brilliant. Pelosi was trying to marginalize these folks and the president has now identified the entire party with them."

Got a link? The boogles of Google are de-linking the works of subversives like Hanson. I only found years-old articles.

He's jumped around quite a bit; it's hard to keep bookmarks for him.

    Thanks for the link.

Hanson is right, of course - but before this riot comes to some sort of stasis, there's going to be a LOT of destruction.

None of them are educated enough to question everything they are taught or hear. They are also immature enough to think communism can't fail here because the right people will be in charge (them) and America has the natural resources other countries lack. They will be part of the ruling class; they will be the privileged ones.
    Yes, they are that insane.
