Keep in mind they say they love America.
Personally I don't believe them -- they love destroying America and making it the America THEY THINK it should be.
James 1:19 says, "Let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath." Being “slow to speak” is the exact opposite to speaking pressingly or with urgency. Practically speaking I believe its all about getting into the habit. Wait before you speak and consider the effects of what you are going to say. Then, if you don’t have anything to say that is constructive or edifying, don’t say anything at all!

It comes down to...how do you propose we control it? You and I and all the Little People.

Because I for one am not going to play John Rambo. I remember the story of John Brown - at Harper's Ferry.

It would depend on my read of the situation.

Suppose, for example, you were in downtown Portland while the Antifa fascists were beating that elderly man. Would you have pulled out your weapon? Because, behind those masked criminals, were POLICE lounging. Ready to defend the criminals.

    Dead heroes save no lives.

I have never been north of White City (Medford) and NEVER plan on visiting Portland in my lifetime .

But we can't know where this sort of thing will pop up next.

A weapon, is a tool. A tool doesn't work - a tool USER, USES the tool to perform the job.

Guns are not an answer - they are equipment to get a job done.

Framing the job, is the challenge of our time.

If the police were allowed to do their job, they would shoot them.

I blame police brass....AND police in the field. They were PREVENTED from doing the most-basic of their jobs. That should have been reason for a walkout. If the (bought) union didn't support it, it would be time to quit.

Yes, I know that is not easy. But they have been drafted into a CRIMINAL operation. It would be as if the Munich police of the 1930s were somehow ordered to work with the SA as the SA broke, looted and burned.

I have no pity for those cops. You know, I left a good union job, also - when it became obvious I was going to eventually be driven out. I resigned with a good work record. It's terrifying, but so is waiting for the axe to fall, or for your decency to be stripped from them.

You talk about a time to take action. I differ on the specifics, but in broad strokes I agree. But THERE...it was time for the men in blue, to take action. If nothing else, to throw their badges into the garbage and walk.
