Linux users what did I do wrong?

I think I might need to input the yahoo i.p. address somewhere to solve this.

    Problem:

Decided to test Mailx to send myself an email.

    First attempt - mailx <subject> <email address>

Result dead letter in my user account (not root)

    Second attempt - mailx <email address>

No warning about the email being saved as dead.letter

The email however was not delivered to my yahoo account.

Apparently Slack needs to be told how to find yahoo or something like that.

Anyone have experience with command line email in Linux?

My experience with Linux is that it has incorporated the worst aspects of Microsoft, Apple, and Android

I wish I could but I just manage the chuckleheads and my own tech background was windows.

I did check to see if anyone was online from my group but can't find anyone.

In conservative clubs there's a room for most of us, a VIP room, and then a room with just DonGlock26

It requires infinite stubbornness. I have some RedHat command line experience.
Here is the Yahoo specific connection information:

    • Yahoo Mail SMTP server address: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
    • Yahoo Mail SMTP username: Your full Yahoo email address (including @yahoo.com)
    • Yahoo Mail SMTP password: Your Yahoo Mail password
    • Yahoo Mail SMTP port: 465 or 587
    • Yahoo Mail SMTP TLS/SSL required: yes
    I came up with this:

    Also this using Raspian:

Make America Greater. Nix the "again", because America was always great.
